Download Safety and File Verification
Fake Delta downloads spread malware every week. This page shows how Delta Executions checks every APK and IPA, and how you can verify any file yourself in under two minutes.
Why File Safety Matters
Roblox executors attract scammers. They know that players want free scripts, so they rename malware as “Delta EXE”, “Delta Mac DMG” or “Delta no key APK”. These files can steal Roblox, Discord and browser accounts.
For example, in August 2026, Bitdefender reported a fake installer for another executor, Xeno, that spread through Discord and stole browser data, Discord accounts and crypto wallets. Malwarebytes has also reported ClickFix attacks that trick Mac users into installing the Atomic Stealer (AMOS) malware.
Delta has no Windows EXE and no Mac DMG. Delta officially comes only as an Android APK and an iOS IPA. Any “Delta.exe” or “Delta.dmg” file is fake. On PC and Mac, you run the APK in an emulator instead.

How We Check Every File
Step 01: Get the File From the Source
We take each build from the official Delta channels whenever they offer it. For builds the official site does not list, such as Delta VNG, we compare several community sources and only keep a file that matches across them.
Step 02: Record Its SHA256 Hash
We calculate the file’s SHA256 fingerprint. Any change to the file, even one byte, changes this fingerprint completely.
Step 03: Scan It
We upload the file to VirusTotal, which checks it with dozens of antivirus engines, and we review every result.
Step 04: Install and Test It
We install the file on a test device with a test Roblox account. Then we check that it opens, accepts a key and runs a simple script.
Step 05: Publish It Unchanged
We upload the exact file we tested. We never wrap it in an installer, add bundled apps or rename it to another format.
If a file fails any step, we do not publish it. If a published file later fails a check, we remove it and say so on the download page.

How to Verify a File With SHA256
A SHA256 hash is a file’s fingerprint. When the hash of your download matches the hash we publish, you know the file arrived exactly as we tested it.
|
Device |
How to get the hash |
|---|---|
|
Windows |
Open Command Prompt and type: certutil -hashfile Delta.apk SHA256 |
|
Mac |
Open Terminal and type: shasum -a 256 Delta.apk |
|
Linux |
Open Terminal and type: sha256sum Delta.apk |
|
Android |
Use a trusted hash checker app from Google Play, then pick the file |
|
iPhone |
Use the Files app on a Mac, or a trusted hash checker from the App Store |
Next, compare the result with the SHA256 hash on our download page. Every character must match. If even one differs, delete the file and download it again from our page.
How to Check a File With VirusTotal
Step 01: Open VirusTotal
Go to virustotal.com, a free service owned by Google.
Step 02: Upload or Search
Upload the file, or paste its SHA256 hash into the search tab to see an existing report without uploading.
Step 03: Read the Results
Look at how many engines flag the file, and read the names of the detections. The table below explains what they mean.
Warnings You May See and What They Mean
Executors modify Roblox, so some security tools flag them even when they contain no malware. Here is how to read the warnings honestly.
|
Warning |
What it usually means |
Our advice |
|---|---|---|
|
Riskware, PUA, HackTool or GameHack |
A tool that modifies a game, flagged by category |
Expected for executors, but only trust it from a verified source |
|
Trojan, Stealer, Spyware or Backdoor |
Real malicious behavior |
Do not install |
|
Google Play Protect warning |
Play Protect flags apps from outside Google Play that modify other apps |
Expected for Delta, check the hash first |
|
Package conflicts with an existing package |
The official Roblox app is still installed |
Normal, uninstall Roblox first |
|
iOS says the app is no longer available |
Apple revoked the signing certificate |
Normal, reinstall or re sign the IPA |
Simple rule: A few generic “Riskware” or “HackTool” flags are normal for executors. A “Trojan” or “Stealer” name from several engines is not. When in doubt, do not install it, and ask us through our contact form.
Red Flags of Fake Delta Sites
If Something Goes Wrong
If you think you installed a fake or harmful file, act quickly:
Step 01: Disconnect and Uninstall
Turn off WiFi and mobile data, then uninstall the suspicious app.
Step 02: Scan Your Device
Run Google Play Protect on Android, or a trusted antivirus on Windows and Mac.
Step 03: Change Your Passwords
From a clean device, change your Roblox, Discord, Google and email passwords, and log out of all other sessions.
Step 04: Turn On Two Factor Authentication
Enable 2FA on every important account, especially Roblox and Discord.
Step 05: Tell Us
Report the file or site through our contact form with the topic “Report a fake site”. Your report helps protect other players.
Our Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions explain the risks of using executors and our responsibilities.
