Our Copyright Promise

We take copyright seriously. We follow the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and we also accept complaints under the copyright laws of other countries. When you send a complete notice, we review it quickly and remove infringing material when the claim is valid.

Before You File a Notice

A DMCA notice is a legal document. So, please check these points first:

  • Make sure you own the copyright, or that the owner authorized you to act for them.
  • Think about fair use. Short quotes, reviews, news reporting and commentary may be legal without permission.
  • Remember that names and logos are trademarks, not copyright. See the trademark section below.
  • Consider contacting us informally first. We often fix simple issues, such as missing credit, within a day.

How to File a Copyright Notice

Send your notice through our contact form and choose “DMCA notice”. Your notice must include all six items that the DMCA requires under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3).

Required item

What to include

1. Your signature

Your full legal name typed as an electronic signature, from the owner or an authorized agent

2. The original work

A description of the copyrighted work, with a link to it if it is online

3. The material on our site

The exact URL on deltaexecutions.com and a description of the material you want removed

4. Your contact details

Your name, postal address, phone number and email address

5. Good faith statement

“I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.”

6. Accuracy statement

“The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.”

Incomplete notices. If a notice misses any required item, the law does not require us to act on it. We will reply and ask you for the missing details.

What Happens After You File

Step 01: We Confirm Receipt

We reply within 2 business days to confirm that we received your notice.

Step 02: We Review It

We check that the notice includes every required item and points to material on our site.

Step 03: We Remove or Disable the Material

If the notice is valid, we remove the material or block access to it, usually within 3 business days.

Step 04: We Notify the Uploader

If a user posted the material, for example in a comment, we tell that user and share a copy of the notice. We may hide your phone number and address.

Please note that we may share notices with the Lumen database, which collects takedown requests for research and transparency. We remove personal contact details before we share them.

Counter Notice

If we removed your material and you believe we made a mistake, you can send a counter notice under 17 U.S.C. 512(g)(3). Use our contact form and choose “DMCA counter notice”.

Required item

What to include

1. Your signature

Your full legal name as an electronic signature

2. The removed material

What we removed and the URL where it appeared

3. Mistake statement

“Under penalty of perjury, I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.”

4. Your contact details

Your name, address, phone number and email

5. Consent to jurisdiction

A statement that you accept the jurisdiction of the US Federal District Court for your address, or, if you live outside the US, any judicial district where we may be found

6. Service of process

A statement that you will accept legal papers from the person who filed the original notice

Once we receive a valid counter notice, we send a copy to the person who filed the original notice. Then, if they do not tell us within 10 business days that they filed a court action, we restore the material within 10 to 14 business days.

Repeat Infringers

We block users who repeatedly post infringing content. For example, if a commenter receives valid complaints more than once, we stop publishing their comments and may block their access to the site.

False Claims Have Consequences

Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a false claim in a notice or counter notice may have to pay damages and legal costs. So, please file only accurate notices, and ask a lawyer if you are unsure.

We also refuse notices that try to silence fair reviews, criticism or safety warnings, or that clearly target content the sender does not own.

Trademark and Other Complaints

If your complaint concerns a trademark, a logo, privacy or anything other than copyright, the DMCA does not apply. Still, we want to hear from you. Use our contact form, explain the issue and include proof that you own the right. We review these complaints in good faith.
